Gluer Operator / Print Finisher

CMS Recruitment are working with a well established print and packaging company that have been in the industry for over 40 years. They are currently looking to recruit for a permanent Gluer Operator / Print Finisher.

Role:

• This role is to run a high speed gluing line on either the Signature or Hoson machines
• Experience of operating hot and cold glue printing system
• You will be familiar with printing machinery carrying out crash lock and/or straight line gluing
• The printer will use a range of UV and conventional inks which you will be familiar with
• You will carry out quality checking and have attention to detail
• Carry out any other work duties as instructed by your leader or when machinery downtime
• Highlighting any anomalies to your leader.

Person:

• The salary is dependent on experience
• You must have experience of working shifts and both working as part of a team and alone
• A good work ethic, reliable, punctual and positive attitude
• Production experience in fast-paced environment (Packaging environment would be an advantage)
• Willing to learn new skills as the role develops
• Able to take direction/instructions from leaders
• Good attention to detail
