Roofer

CMS Recruitment limited are working with a well established roofing company based in Gateshead who are currently looking for a Skilled Roofer who has worked on various different types of roofs.

You will have a least 3 years roofing experience or more and able to work alone and as part of a team.

This will be working on all different roof types such as pitched/flat/rubber etc but excluding metal.

Hours and Wage will be discussed prior to you application being submitted. Wage will depend on experience from £14 - £25ph

This position is permanent and ideally you will hold a full UK driving licence.

The main responsibilities for this role will be to work as part of the Stores team.Ensure daily targets are met and effectively carry out the key processes of the department.

The right candidate will have experience of working in, manufacturing, warehouse or packing experience of the following responsibilities:

Use of the computerised stock and control system
Preparation and despatch of finished goods
Packing of all good to be sent out to clients
The role will have some repetitive tasks from time to time, so a high attention to detail and strong ability to focus on tasks is a definite requirement!

Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)

CMS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) for our well established engineering client based in Gateshead.

The Role

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will provide multi skilled support in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the plant facilities.

Providing full maintenance support to production to minimise down time.
Responding to breakdowns as and when they occur
Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
Identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvements
Ensuring all machinery and equipment on site is both mechanically and electrically safe.
Liaising and working with outside contractors when required
The person

A good communicator with excellent organisational skills, coupled with a mandatory technical qualification in electrical discipline. The successful candidate will also possess the personal attribute to drive improvements in all areas of the department.

Qualified to 18th Edition Electrical regulations with at least 5 years experience of fast paced high volume manufacturing environment, ideally qualified to City & Guilds Inspection and Testing Level 3
Good understanding/knowledge of mechanical skills
Experience of maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic and oil and grease lubrication systems
PLC fault finding and PLC development is a must.
Experience of maintaining large Power Presses and Assembly Robots
Knowledge and experience of motor drives and panel building
Forklift and MEWP License would be desirable.
Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
Commitment to Health and Safety Procedures
Working Hours:

Hours of work 39 hours per week,

Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 16:30pm,

Friday 07:30am to 12:30pm, must be flexible

Power Press Setter & Operator

This will be a 2-shift pattern role which is Monday – Thursday 2 shift pattern.

Early shift – 06:30 – 16:30 / Late shift – 12:30 – 22:30

Essentials Requirements:

You must have experience in both tandem and Progression/coil fed blanking disciplines.

This role is a temp to perm with a view of being taken on permanently after your 12th week minimum of 37.5 hours per week – overtime is available.

Role:

• This role is to run a high speed gluing line on either the Signature or Hoson machines
